We just put ours together last night! I am happy with this turquoise armoire. I love the color, and the amount of space it has. Also – it’s hearty, not flimsy or put together clumsily.
My only concern is that one of the doors arrived without a magnet on it, so the door opens on it’s own. An easy fix, but still annoyed that it won’t stay shut! This would be five stars (or bees) if the magnet was there!

This is everything I had hoped for and more. I cannot say enough about the amount of space and the quality. Would 100% buy it again and recommend. The box was damaged in transit but the way they packed the item inside, not a scratch on it, so I appreciated that thoroughness.
PROS: Tons of storage space. Can hold my extensive collection of jewelry and accessories. Finally have a place for sunglasses, hair clips, and other small items that end up cluttering up the top of my dresser.
Love that the doors are in the front, not on the sides, easier to fit Cabby anywhere you want instead of needing to leave open spaces on the sides to fully open other armoires’ doors.
Also love that the doors hide the drawers and the whole case locks shut.
It doesn’t look like a jewelry armoire which is a main reason I picked this style, I didn’t want it to be instantly recognizable. It looks like a nice wood storage piece, maybe for linens.
Beautiful color. Color is a true turquoise, bright and colorful finish with a little distressed look.
Sturdy and easy to put together. You have to attach the legs and the top lid.
Linen lining is much less lint attracting than felt with a clean, fresh look.
CONS (do not detract enough to change my rating): Drawers tip down when pulled out more than halfway, unfortunate when you have loose jewelry inside. The drawers are not on tracks.
No dividers in the drawers below the top three drawers. I will probably buy a few inserts for my smaller items to keep them sorted but the largest drawers work well without them for larger accessories.
Magnets on doors could be a touch stronger. I have extra strength, small/thin silver magnets I am going to add myself for more strength but I doubt most people have those kinds of magnets laying around. If your piece is sitting level, the doors shouldn’t open.

I love the color and the wood plus it is made very solid my issue was a few scratches on it and a nick on the leg …also one of the legs was hard to screw in and the screw just keep stripping luckily my husband builds for a living so the screw was an easy fix for him which made me happy ….I love the roomy drawers and all the space it provides plus the lock is great….all and all a solid buy except for the scratches….

I wanted a fully locking armoire, which is difficult to find. I had been wanting this armoire for a while, but all the vendors that had offered it no longer had it in stock. I did a Google search specifically for this item, but Hives and Honey never appeared as a retailer. After purchasing a smaller version of this model from a different retailer, and using the information card included in that purchase, I was able to find out that Hives and Honey sold their items, and so ordered the larger model. After assembling, both models would lock, but I couldn’t remove the key when the armoires were locked. I could remove the key if the lid wasn’t closed. A handyman was able to fix this problem for me. I love the functionality of this armoire. It is solidly constructed and has a lovely color. I am unhappy about the craftmanship on the application of the linen lining. There are several areas where the lining was cut too short, thus the ends do not meet. I would include pics if it were possible on this review. The lining on the smaller model was crafted much better. I would have requested a return and replacement if it weren’t such a nuisance to do.

This is my first jewelry armoire. I’ve always had little jewelry boxes or storage, but nothing like this. I was worried, and wondered how the quality was and was it worth the cost.
I received my armoire today, it is amazing!! The color is perfect, I feel like it was very well made and well worth the price. All the drawers are lined, with is so nice and makes the whole armoire elegant. I assembled it myself and it was really simple. I took all the drawers out and flipped it over, then attached the feet. Then I flipped it back up, placed it where I wanted in my room and put the drawers back. It was so easy. I can also say, the customer service from Hives and Honey is really top notch. They anser emails right away and are very courteous. I appreciate the help with my purchase and am so happy I chose this armoire.
